An initial FREE discussion is usually undertaken with yourself and/or your child to ensure that further assessment and therapy is necessary. ONLINE therapy and assessment NOW AVAILABLE using ZOOM or similar programs.
Initial assessment will consist of at least 1 hour's direct contact with the child, followed by further discussion/observation as necessary. Discussion with teaching staff and observation within a school environment may be necessary. A detailed report with treatment plan and ideas/activity sheets will be given within a month of the assessment.
Therapy sessions will consist of discrete 'blocks' of therapy, generally following the 'half-term' nature of school attendance. Practise of speech and language ideas should be carried out at home/school in between sessions in order to help generalise skills.
Prices of assessment and therapy are available upon request, but would range from £40-65 per therapy session and £120-£350 for an assessment and report.
